our own particular emphasis on things with Start
Racing.sm
You'll get a very solid foundation in basic skills peculiar to sailboat
racing, such as crowded starts and mark roundings, passing or remaining
in close proximity to other vessels, and the like. The boathandling
skills you'll learn will serve you well in other areas of sailing, too.
For realism, once
the basic foundation is laid we'll start a real regatta! In addition
to instruction and drilling, all actual races will be scored and awards
will be given at the end of the series. |
