    Buyer's choice, both firm:

    $4900, including winter storage;
    $3900, launched this fall

This little yacht became a yard lien at a nearby facility and is therefore a very good value.  This vintage of Hunters sail well and were well built.  The yard ran and serviced the Yanmar diesel (they're a Yanmar dealer).  The sails were sent to UK Halsey for servicing and are stored there now.  The boat is solid, has new rigging, and will serve someone well for daysailing and coastal cruising.

What's wrong (that we know of):
    • She has a rainwater leak somewhere, as the bilge has accumulated water over this past winter.
    • The interior wood work is stained from floor level up a ways from sitting with water at some point in the past.
    • There's a thru-hull fitting that is leaking as evidenced by rainwater slowly dripping out.
    • Split backstay adjustor sheaves need replacement.
    • Anchor needs new rode
    • Needs new compass
    • Needs USCG required equipment - flares, flag, sound, PFD's.
    • Berth cushion fabric is in fair shape and is stained in a few spots.

What's good and right (that we know of):
    • Yanmar diesel inboard in good shape, professionally serviced
    • main and genoa, loft serviced and stored there now
    • slotted toe rail in great shape - allows for limbering of water and infinite adjustment of rail fittings
    • good cockpit layout with ample storage in lazarettes
    • lots of stuff inside - galley and icebox, sink, chart table with built in chart tubes - kewl!
    • good ports and hatches; ports are large and light up the interior, and they open  for ventilation.
    • nice drop-down dinette large enough for four; can be used on one side only allowing passage forward
    • sleeps 5 with v-berth forward, setees, and quarterberth
    • original Kenyon spars in good shape cosmetically and fine shape structurally
    • new standing rigging, stanchions and lifelines
    • pulpit and pushpit appear new
    • some new running rigging
    • hull and boot stripe still have some lustre and shine; easy to bring back with elbow grease or buffer
    • Harken roller furling in great shape
    • great swim ladder on transom
    • solid hull, deck and cabin top
    • keel bolts in excellent shape

LEFT: chart table and quarter berth.  Note the integrated chart tubes!  Table top is a bit stiff, probably from some water getting on it, but should loosen up with regular use.
Also note the breaker panel for electric below the quarter berth; this appears to have been installed after the water intrusion as it's in fine shape.

ABOVE: dinette table down, with one drop leaf out of the way for easy access forward.  This lifts up to complete the table with two other legs and easily accommodates four people.

LEFT: vanity opposite the head; note the size of the port.  RIGHT: head, which is plumbed to a holding tank forward.

LEFT: forward (V) berth.  Note the nice condition of the wood.  There are large ports on both sides, plus the original Bomar hatch above.
RIGHT: galley.  Kenyon two-burner alcohol stove (older, pressurized type), sink, and icebox.  Note water stains up along wood work from standing water.  Stove has wood cover that needs treatment.  Behind it are wood pieces that we don't know the identity of.

We can show you this boat by appointment.  Call 718 885 0335 to ask about this or other boats,
